Do you sometimes feel that you are running after the facts and are already tired before the day starts? You know you have so much to do but your head is so full. Where do you start How do you get the best out of your day? Starting and planning a day well is already half the battle! With these 7 tips you first ensure peace in your body, so that you immediately feel space and overview in the things that you want to do. Let’s get to it!


Give yourself time to go into the day and prepare your mind, body and soul for the day ahead. Get up earlier than usual. Rushing in the morning has an effect on your mindset for the rest of the day, and that is not really beneficial for your mood, concentration and energy. Therefore, prepare your clothes, bag and breakfast the night before. This can give you a lot of rest and more time in the morning.

Keep a diary

Write down what is in your head and in your heart. Start every day by putting your thoughts, feelings and ideas on paper. It is the first step towards clarity and leaving behind all the luggage from the previous day. This does not have to take long, but paying attention to what is happening inside is really very important to stay close to yourself and make the right choices.

Have a plan for the day

You do not need an extensive task list. Focus on three major goals for the coming day and make it a habit to start and complete a project or task. Also plan moments to eat and relax. Both are often taken for granted on busy days, while it is just as important to charge in between.


Meditation is certainly not floating, but rather a practical tool to bring peace to your body and mind. Learn to ‘check in’ for a moment every day and feel what is happening inside. This can be done morning and evening, but also a few minutes in the toilet or in a parked car before you have an important meeting for example. This really makes the difference in how you feel! Meditation provides more space, peace and focus. It brings you calm and allows you to gain more control over your life. Everything else will fall into place as soon as you calm down the storm inside.

Keep moving

That we are too much is generally known, but whether we consciously do something with it? We sit on the train, at home, in the car or at work and often make long days. Do not sit still for too long and keep moving during the day. Walking during your lunch break gives you a moment to land in yourself and to recharge. This keeps you inspired, focused and energetic! Search for nature if possible. If that does not work on workdays, at least go outside and plan a moment in the weekend to ground in nature.

Break your pattern

Go do something else and broaden your horizon. There is always a new hotspot or something cool to do that you have never done before. If you are completely stuck, do not stay at home! Go out, discover new things! You will gain new insights because your brain receives new stimuli.

Find the beautiful and rewarding in your life and find the beautiful in others. Gratitude is the way to bring good vibes into your life. It has even been proven that by practicing gratitude, you positively influence processes in your body. You will carry that energy to every new day. Every day before you go to sleep, write down three things that you are grateful for and try to feel it for a moment.
